Quick Overview
The Axis M5014 Indoor PTZ Network Dome Camera provides a discreet security solution, measuring only 13cm in diameter and 5.6cm in depth. However, thanks to its Pan, Tilt, Zoom functionality, the M5014 can provide coverage of an area of up to 400 sq. m. whilst its IP51 rated housing ensures protection against dust and dripping water. What's more, the M5014 provides HDTV 720p image resolution at 1280x720 and is easy to install thanks to its Power over Ethernet support, allowing for video, power and PTZ control to be taken to and from the camera over one ethernet cable when used with a PoE midspan (not included).

- Is this PTZ IP camera quiet? We'd like to use it in a quiet room to observe the desk and screen of a computer workstation operator working through a series of examined scenarios.
- Unfortunately Colin, the pan motor on this compact PTZ is relatively noisy. If you placed this camera adjacent to somebody working in quiet conditions they would certaily be aware of its pan motor moving the camera left/right.

Sorry, No. This camera must be mounted with its dome downwards e.g. ceiling-mounted.
