  • Does the d-link camera or any other IP camera < £100 have a wired Etherent connection?
  • Yes, the D-Link DCS-932 does have a wired ethernet connection on the rear.
    Most wireless cameras do have a wired connection.
    Most require you to connect them with a cable first to 'introduce them' to your wireless router.

  • How long is the power lead? Can the power lead be extended? and if so what is the connector size?
  • The power lead is 1.5m long.
    The PSU is 5V DC at 1.2A.
    It seems to be a 5mm DC barrel plug with a 2.1mm centre positive pin.
    You should be able to extend with the Y-cam extension leads from our webshop, although with just 5 volts you may only be able to extend by 3m before experiencing volt-drop issues.
