    What type of phone(s) do I require to purchase for viewing the camrea's (i.e. Nokia 5800)?
    
    I've read the additional information 'compatibility with cameras from' section but don't recognise most of the ones listed.

    QNAP produce their 'VSMobile' application to run on your mobile phone and access your QNAP NVR.
    You need a 'Windows Mobile' based mobile phone to run this.
    
    There's a wide range of suitable phones available, check at:

    We are expecting that QNAP will produce an iPhone CCTV App to access their NVRs soon.

  • Hi if i want to use axis camera's -say 4 axis 206 and this NAS,do i have to purchase any extra licenses or software, or does the QNAP come with neccessary software (viewer) thanks
  • No need to purchase any additional software.
    The QNAP NVRs are delivered pre-loaded with CCTV recording software.

  • I have seen other small model QNAP NVRs elsewhere, is there any reason why you are not promoting those?
  • Hi Matt, The following QNAP NVR models are all now regarded as End Of Life (EOL):
    VS-201P
    VS-201V
    VS-101P
    VS-101V
    NVR-101
    NVR-1012
    They can still be manufactured for 'Projects' if ordered in large batches :-)
