    This Sanyo IP PTZ camera does have a built-in fan & heater. The Sanyo VA-80EX + VA-CM8C (housing and dome cover) of this dome camera are IP66 rated and intended for outdoor use. However, it does not have any special surface treatment for marine use (salt corrosion) and therefore we are unable to guarantee the camera's longevity in such an environment.

  • Can I use a joystick keyboard with this Sanyo IP camera?
  • Yes Jason, you need to run suitable CCTV recording software (Sanyo or Luxriot) on a PC or a laptop and then use a USB-connected joystick (plugged into the PC/laptop) to control the camera's pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ) functions.
    The Axis T8312 joystick keyboard is often used.
