    Hikvision on 4g

It should work, you may have less upload / download bandwidth available and a bit more network latency (delay). You may need to adjust the camera video settings to compensate.

    Hikvision on 4g

I assume you are in a rural area with limited cellphone towers around, unless you’ve rented out a site to a cellphone provider. Find out which provider has the best 3/4G signal. Check the signal level with your smartphone, I would look for a steady >=3 bars. Find friends that use different...

Is the 4G connection the main internet connection or just a backup? Do you have a diagram of how your NVR / DVR camera network is setup? David

Network Unreachable for Cameras on DS-7104NI-E1/4P NVR

read my post at 07:22am today. i dont think your NVR recognises MSDOS FAT32 drives, my smaller key was formatted in the NVR and works. It’s a common problem when working with hybrid operating systems. I often see it between Linux and windows systems.

Network Unreachable for Cameras on DS-7104NI-E1/4P NVR

Following on from my last post. My NVR USB key is 1Gb and works on both my 7604-E and 7608-I NVR's. I think the NVR operating system is a hybrid Linux / DOS setup using a generic DOS format for the usb drive.

Network Unreachable for Cameras on DS-7104NI-E1/4P NVR

The rear NVR ports are on a private subnet. Try the NVR ipaddress and port 65001 eg 10.8.150.NVR:65001 port 1 65001 port 2 65002 etc. look at the firmware here

MacOS What is the best Mac Solutions for accessing and viewing cameras?

On my MacBook I’ve used VMware fusion for many years now and find it to be very stable, along with ivms4200 for windows. Hikvision support for Mac is woeful.

Hik rtsp via vlc player on Mac to embed in website

Hi Bryan, you'll have to include the password in the rtsp url, setup the second user account to only remotely view that camera. I have 5 cameras on rtsp.me and have not noticed any problems so far.

Hik rtsp via vlc player on Mac to embed in website

@Astr0dude Hello Bryan, I think the best thing for you is to try creating an rtsp.me (free) account and add a camera. rtsp.me give you a https link to your camera, this can be added to a button on your website. They also provide html5 code to add a video box to your website, see my website here...
