Replacing cable on HD IP bird box camera

If you can't get the connectors over the end of the cable then just use a load of insulation tape or amalgamating tape. On one of my boxes I have actually got the connector inside the box. So there is no way any water can get into the connector. But I made sure I put tape around the light so...

Replacing cable on HD IP bird box camera

Yeah, it's easy not to waterproof connector properly. One problem I have found with a couple of new bird box cameras I just got in the last couple of months is they started supplying a slightly different type of cable. If you watch the video that green feathers produce on how to install the HD...

Replacing cable on HD IP bird box camera

A friend of mine got all the parts necessary to enable power the camera, but it doesn't work. So unfortunately I can't really offer you any advice that will help. I think you may have to buy another camera. If you are planning on filming the birds nesting this year then I wouldn't hang around...

    Problems after factory reset

Okay, I found how to factory reset one of the dome cameras which I happen to have. However, I have a couple of the other bullet type cameras that don't appear to have any visible reset buttons on them.

    Problems after factory reset

I have connected the cameras directly to the NVR. Oh, no, I didn't hard reset any of the cameras only factory default, the NVR

    Problems after factory reset

I have been having all sorts of problems in the last couple of days, so I thought the easier solution would be to perform a factory default reset. I found a really good YouTube video, which told you exactly how to do. I entered my new password and went through all the different stages...

CCTV NVR problem - after restoring my settings

Okay, still not really getting anywhere. I have reset the box back to factory settings. I have unplugged all the cameras and then gone through the setup process again. Then I plug in the camera, which appears to be found because the lights come on. But no picture appears on the screen. I...

CCTV NVR problem - after restoring my settings

In SADP, do I need to have the "enable HIK-connect " box checked?

CCTV NVR problem - after restoring my settings

Okay, I think I'm going to need to uninstall all the cameras and literally try and get this box back to how it was when I unpacked it. I'm not going anywhere at the moment. I would have thought that if I have put the box back to default than it would have automatically found the cameras.

CCTV NVR problem - after restoring my settings

Stupid question. I'm looking in SADP and the gateway for the NVR is all zeros. Shouldn't that be 192.1 68.1.254?
