I have my Hik cameras going into my Hik NVR. The NVR is connected via CAT6 cable to a PC that runs IVMS-4200. The NVR just acts as the recorder.
I have a Hik DS-1005KI joystick that I used in a different configuration but in the above configuration I can't get it to work. I've plugged it into...
My setup is Cameras - NVR - PC. I don't use a switch or router. On IVMS the only device that appears is the NVR. I can access the individual cameras and change some of their settings but not to the extent if they were independent of the NVR. I'm curious to know if there is a way to access the...
Hello
I have a Hik DS-2CD6D54FWD-IZHS. I had it plugged into a switch and could see all 4 cameras of the unit through IVMS. Today I received my Hik NVR DS-7608NI-I2 and hooked up that same camera unit to it but could only see one of the four cameras. I then hooked up the NVR into the switch and...
Hello
I am getting ready to purchase a Hik DS-7608ni-i2. The cameras that I'm going to connect to it are the DS2C6D54RWD-IZHS and DS-2DE7530IW-AE, both require POE and they both came with midspans. I have other cameras that I may add to it later.
The only version of that NVR available to me...

Thanks, I'll try this today. Your suggestion got me to thinking that I could also disable 3 of the 4 channels coming out of the unit and see how BI behaves in that configuration.
I think I have gotten rid of the thin pixelated horizontal line. I went in my BIOS and checked the video setting. It was set on Auto so I changed it to Intel HD. I still have the frequent freezing problem though........... especially when a car enters the scene.
Thanks for the response
I'll have to doublecheck where I got the latest firmware. I don't think it was on the UK site.
The machines were different ………. the cctv machine used an intel i5-8000 series chip, no graphics card and auto updates. The other machines uses an i7-4000 series chip and a...
I purchased the subject unit about a month ago. It works fine if I use the webview or iVMS-4200 although with some recording issues that I have yet to figure out. If I use Blue Iris one or all of the cameras in the unit will periodically freeze for a few seconds, leave momentary video artefacts...
