Firmware New Firmware for K Series 7608/7616 K2 (old version)

You may have done this but just for starters have you tried swapping the ports around on the back of the NVR to eliminate the possibility of a port failure? i.e swap one that’s in a working port with one that’s not working. Also what cameras have you got? Are they up-to-date on the latest...

Yeah I have without any problems. However I updated mine via usb stick plugged into the NVR.

Change scene / brightness in V4 as you could in V3?

Scrap that update - just clocked it’s for the K1’s.

Change scene / brightness in V4 as you could in V3?

Thanks for the reply Dan, yes I see your point. I suppose it’s just the same as the the presets on most modern monitors. I found it particularly useful at night if I wanted to live view and the ambient light was darker than usual, for example heavy cloud cover, really brightened up the picture...

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for K-Series [76NI-K1(B)] NVRs - V4.30.000_build200508

Anyone installed this or know of any changes?

Change scene / brightness in V4 as you could in V3?

Hopefully someone can recall this and throw some light on it. When I first got my setup about a year ago, my NVR DS 7608NI K2, the latest firmware was V3, a feature I liked which aided picture quality when viewing in certain scenes / light, if I recall correctly I could right click the live...

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for K-Series [76NI-K1(B)] NVRs - V4.30.000_build200508

Mine was an odd one, everything was as it was but Hik Connect offline. In the end I changed my dns from 8.8.8.8 to my routers IP and bingo, then changed it back to 8.8.8.8 and all was ok still. Also when I tried pinging the server I got no response , changed it to another server and got a...

Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for K-Series [76NI-K1(B)] NVRs - V4.30.000_build200508

I have noticed mine is offline this evening, although I haven’t done an upgrade. Will check it out in the morning but mine in the past has been the ip address changing, but I’m sure I set it to fixed... Have you tried the SADP tool to find your device on the network and check the ip?

Any noticeable differences from 4.30.005 anyone? Visual changes / extra menus? Or just all bug fixes?

No worries - Thanks for the reply. I’ve gone with Hik-Connect currently, so not needed to setup DDNS. Do you find the iVMS or Hik-Connect app better? I’ve had to turn on port forwarding this week as I’m away on holiday also and getting a few false alerts from intrusion detection so tweaking the...

    Firmware Latest HikVision Firmware for K-Series [76 77 86 NI-K2 K4 K8] NVRs - V4.30.005 build200628 (V4 Lite with E-UI)

Jumped to V4 today, didn’t lose any settings and no problems as yet. Much slicker and much more modern look. One thing I thought you could try in reference to your linkage / notify surveillance centre issue that I noticed today was that this is turned off on my NVR settings, but when I log...

    DS-2CD2385G1-I - Not responding

Thanks - that’s good to hear! I have the same cameras as in the thread, but to install we’ve done a 20mm hole in the soffit to get the pigtail through, this is obviously drilled though in the middle of the cameras base as such, so all the cable and connection sit inside my new upvc soffits.
