Hi, i have here 2x 7716NI-I4 (Non POE) with very loud fan. But i dont know why. On the beginnig they were normal in noise, but after a few days they got very loud like a jet. Any ideas? Its a bug (firmware) or problem with fan controll from recorder?

I found that when I had two cameras hooked up initially, the fan was quiet. As I added more cameras over the next few months the fan got louder, so it apparently is a variable speed fan according to load. There are some writeups on the internet about how to change to a quieter, aftermarket fan.

Thanks. I changed the fans with gelid 60x60x15,5 in the case. In the powersupply i added noiseblocker 60x60x10 Industrial. I used 3 to 2 pin cable for both.
Its important that you keep the right size. Bigger fans (depth of fan) will not fit!
