IPC-B640-Z vs DS-2CD2643G0-IZS

Hello all. Hopefully you can help me from making a mistake. I currently have 4 IPC-B640-Z cameras, fitted to the eaves of the house. The picture is great in the day but I'm a bit disappointed with the night vision. I've spotted the HIKVISION DS-2CD2643G0-IZS and wondered if it's worth to upgrade these or would it not be worth it?

I'm running a hikvision 8channel nvr DS-7608NI-E2/8P/A

We don't really know the HiWatch range, but I'm confident the 2643 would be better; low-light and a zoom lens

Hi Phil, thanks for the reply. It would have been awesome to find a back to back youtube vid but it's far to specific. I'm just not impressed by the lack of support from hik regarding the hiwatch brand regarding software updates.

Hi Trev. The B640Z isnt a bad camera but it's DIY Hi-Watch kit. Swap it out for real Hikvision and you will notice the difference. You may find This Blog useful
