The EasyIP 4.0 range is currently only available in 4MP resolution, we don't know if they have plans for 6 or 8MP models but currently, the sensor technology they are using is only available in 4MP
Hi @nuro & @will_k
Almost all Hikvision turrets do not have built-in microphones, the only model that does is the new 2347 ColorVu Turret
From our testing though we have never been overly impressed with using built-in microphones outdoors, they can work ok for smaller models like the Mini...
Response from Milesight Support below:
Smart Events support to send email with snapshots when alarm is triggered. Plz ask customer update his camera and check alarm settings, don't forget to enable SMTP option.
If the issue still exists, maybe you can ask him make TV with me...
UPDATE: After pushing Milesight on the release note issue with the latest firmware I am happy to say that we have release notes for this new firmware and we have an update from Milesight in regards to their plans for release notes in the future:
This is the release note of V71-r2 attached.
We would recommend a Mini Dome like the 2545 5MP Darkfighter Mini Dome
We recommend this over any other model for this situation because it has a shorter 10m IR distance than most other models which means that objects very close to the comer will not be whited out as much by the IR.
You can hard reset the ANPR camera using the reset button behind the MicroSD card cover on the underside of the camera, instructions for hard resetting can be found here
Do you actually have a 4A26/P ANPR camera? because the login page in the photo you sent is still using the...
You are definitely accessing the cameras using the virtual host links on the camera management page? (far right of the table under 'Connect')
If the password doesn't work the only thing I can think is that you may have changed the NVR password and the camera is using an...
Are you trying to change the image settings from the NVR menus?
This may be the problem, the Image settings when logged into the NVR via a browser are limited, you will need to use Virtual Host to access the 4A26 camera directly and change it's image settings.
That is the latest firmware specifically for the '/P' ANPR model, that video you have taken a screenshot from is actually using the older ANPR model - the 4A25FWD-IZS - and so the browser interface for the 4A26 is slightly different but you should still be able to access those...
Yes, you should be able to use that firmware from the UK portal on a German NVR, the firmware file has the letter 'ML' in the title which usually refers to 'multi-lingual' which means it should include multiple languages.
We thought it wouldn't be long before somebody asked this question:)
I saw the new firmware on Milesight's website at the beginning of the week and the first thing I did was ask them this question:
I see that there is a new camera firmware on Milesight download page - 4x.7.0.71-r2
Do you have...
The MS- versions of Milesight camera do not usually come with the VCA package included, you will need to contact Milesight directly to ask them for a VCA Licence - https://www.milesight.com/company/contactUs
This is one of the reasons we sell our own UI- versions of the Milesight cameras...
Have you tried enabling the Virtual Host feature, it allows you to log in to individual cameras that are directly connected to the NVR.
If you can access it via virtual host then you can factory reset the camera from the Maintenance menu.
If you just want to read number plates in the daytime then upgrading to a 6 or 8MP camera will give you more detail in the wide FoV, but if reading plates at night is also important then you would have to look at a 4mm or 6mm option because the resolution will always be slightly reduced when...
