panasonic sw175 sw172 sound

I have been struggling for 2 weeks to resolve my issue of no sound when viewing my SW175 & SW172 cameras in IE11 on my freshly rebuilt Windows 10 PCs. I eventually found the solution on this Panasonic site and though I would share it here as I'm sure I won't be the last to have this issue...
