‘No Plugin detected’ error message on my iPad?

Hi
Sorry for the simplistic question but I am trying to configure a Hik-Vision camera my son has given me.
My problem is when I log into the camera interface via its internal IP address, and then go to the configuration screen, all the Video feeds from Camera are blank with a ‘No Plugin detected’ error message.
I am going this on my IPad and viewing it through Google Chrome.
My camera is a DS-2CD2T42WD-15 with a Plug-in version V3.0.5.42

Any thoughts or suggestions
Thanks in anticipation
Les W.

As you are using an iPad it would be best to use their App:
Hikvision App Store

Select IOS at the top, then install the Hik-Connect App.

Hi Phil
Initially thanks for responding to my query.
I have alreadynstalled the Hik-Connect app on my IPad and the ‘Live View’ does indeed display fine.
My problem is the other features like the ability to set up a; Activity Area for Motion Detect and a Privacy Mask can only be set within the Camera interface ( unless there is somewhere else that I have missed).

I think you will need to access the camera from a PC (via the Internet Explorer browser) to access those setup features.
