2 new camera's needed

Hi
I have a customer who has 2 camera's (DS-2CD2632F) and a recording device (DS-7608NI-SE/P).
He would like another 2 camera's the same as his existing ones, however the ones on this site say they are superseded and out of stock.
What is the replacement version and will they work with his recording device?

Hi James,

Unfortunately, testing a DS-7608NI-SE/P with the new 4MP cameras isn't something we've tried, although we've had a couple of customers report that they aren't compatible - hopefully someone else can prove us wrong.

The last firmware update for the DS-7608NI-SE/P is quite old, and Hikvision seemingly aren't actively supporting the NVR as much as the other models.

Stock of the 3MP DS-2CD2632F-I cameras are very scarce in the UK now, but we do have two in stock. Drop me an email at krd@use-ip.co.uk and we can discuss further.

To resurrect this thread somewhat, the latest firmware version for the DS-7608NI-SE/P (v3.0.15 151230) adds support for the R6 4MP series of cameras.
