Question is can ad in line a Poe Injector after the nvr? (Drawing attached)

problem seems not enough power to a PTZ at around 90m away, I think the cause is bad quality cable.

when you plug the rj45 into the nvr the camera won’t work, you plug a power supply into the camera it works, unplug the power supply and it continues to work but if you re boot the nvr it stops again until you plug the power supply in again.

Thank you in advance for any advice

Ps. I bought a camera from you a couple of days ago, very impressed with the service, I will be back for more.

Which power supply are you using and can you inject power closer to the camera? I presume you have tested the same type of camera with the injector and a short length of RJ45?

Most PTZs do need more POE power than your NVR can provide.
It is OK to configure it as you show.
You may well need a POE+ injector (IEEE 802.3at)
e.g. Tenda PoE30G-AT 30W Gigabit PoE Injector

It's best to check the datasheet for your PTZ and verify what its POE power requirement is; some need 60 Watts, a few need 95 Watts!!
