That is the NVR firmware, is the PTZ directly connected to the PoE ports on the NVR?

Ok, are you using a PoE+ Injector as well?

PTZ cameras require a more powerful standard of PoE called PoE+, the PoE ports on the NVR only produce standard PoE

If you don't have PoE+ Injector you can get one - Level One POI-3000 Gigabit PoE Plus Injector - and put it between the NVR and the PTZ camera

If you are going to have it directly connected to the PoE ports of the NVR then you will need to enable Virtual Host to log in to the camera directly and check what firmware the PTZ is on.

Ok because the ptz that I have as a separate power cable and the ethernet cable. I am currently running on ethernet because we have not made a socket for the camera to be connected directly to a wall so if the camera has its own power and ethernet will the auto tracking work?

no, it is more likely a firmware issue

Can you enable Virtual host as I describe above and login to the PTZ directly to find out what firmware it is currently on. (If you have activated the camera by directly connecting it to the NVR it will have been activated with the same username & password as the NVR)

Are you logged in to the NVR as the admin user or as a regular user?

This is one the NVR

Ok, do you know the login details for the Admin user? You should have created the admin password when you first setup/activated the NVR

ok, so have you been able to login to the NVR with the admin username and password, can you please enable Virtual Host and then log in to the PTZ and let us know what firmware version the PTZ is currently on.
