Can I record road outside of my house in UK?

I have a Hickvision camera (purchased from your good selves) positioned high up on the front of my house that covers driveway and front garden. We have recently been having somone driving past our house then 40 seconds later driving back the way they came. They slow down and take a look in every time they pass. We live in a rural location and our nearest neighbour is quite a ways away. My neighbour has not noticed anything and has no cctv. I however have lots of footage Spanning a fair few weeks now. My question would be can I use a capture of the car from my recorder to show my neighbours or anyone else in area? Is it ok to do that?
