Hello everyone, just a quick question. I wanted to know that can you use lets say a 5mp camera on a NVR/DVR that can only accept cameras upto 2/3/4mp? I think the DVR/NVR would downgrade the 5mp resolution to its highest acceptable resolution? Am I right in assuming in that or would the 5mp camera not work at all?
Currently I have a hikvision ds7216hqk2 and I think it can only accept upto 4mp cameras but I saw this 5mp ahd camera that i wanted to buy but I'm not sure if that's going to work with my dvr or not? Any advice?
