Hi

Newbie here

I'm interested in upgrading my CCTV equipment for my home.
I currently have 4 x 2mp (at best) cameras and an older DVR that keeps losing the IP address. It is analogue so I'm tempted to just upgrade the cameras and DVR so I don't have to re-route cables.
Would I get much more benefit going to a CAT6 setup?

Also do you have a easy link to setting up my DVR again as I'm visiting my daughter in Dorset next week and would like it working again. (I'm hopeless with it).

I am about to look also

From your starting point (not wishing to replace the cables) you'd be best to go with the latest available HD over co-ax solutions, such as Hikvision's Turbo range.

I'm afraid we don't offer them / never get hands-on with anything analogue, so cannot offer you much further advice.

So

Looking for 4 cameras must be analogue

Would a

DS-2AE7230TI- A PTZ Be over kill but I do like 120 meters of IR visibility x 1 camera

2DS-2AE7232TI- A PTZ Better than above?? Slightly cheaper which seems odd. Maybe more available?

DS-2CE56D1T-VPIR Other 3 cameras

DS-7316HQHI-F4/N Suitable or should I get a better model? DVR
