Hello everybody,

I have a Hikvision DS-7608NI-E2 DVR.

now I have set up DDNS and used dyn.com.
Connection okay. I also activated port forwarding and changed the HTTP port to 7899.

Now the receiver can be reached at my brother via dyn.com:7899.

However, the DVR does not allow you to be integrated into ivms4000 via IP.

The error "Device offline" always occurs

However, the port obviously leads out, otherwise my brother could not access it.

Can you actually remote access and login with a browser e.g. Internet Explorer from a remote site using the DDNS?

Yes this is no problem and Works with Firefox and Internet-Explorer.

only iVMS-4500 get no Connection

Do you mean iVMS-4500?
Hikvision's old App.

You have changed the http port to 7899 however it is the server port you need to enter in iVMS in order to connect. I suspect that you've entered 7899 in the iVMS device section of the app instead of the server port (default is 8000 but recommend you change it)

As an example leave http at 7899, set server to 7900 and RTSP to 7901. Set port forwarding in you router to forward TCP ports 7899-7901 to the internal IP of your NVR (the LAN side address 192.168.xxx.xxx)

Alias: My CCTV (user friendly name for your system)
Register Mode: IP/Domain
Address: mycctv.dyndns.com (your domain here)
Port: 7900 (or whatever you use)
Username: ???
Password: ???

Depending on your router (and whether it supports loopback) you may need to add second site with the address as 192.168.xxx.xxx for when you are on your home WiFi.

Be aware that if you want alarm notifications iVMS is not great - the alarms are pushed to the device notification area and will not appear in the app itself until you acknowledge each one in the notification area. Although alarms are supported in the HiK Connect app, they will only work if you use Hik Connect as the register mode rather than Ip/Domain which is really annoying as I'd rather not expose my system to Hikvision.

I will try it and give you Feedback

Hi,

i have try it now but it doesn't work.
So i wouldnt use hik-connect because i use by all my system dynddns.

But problem is the same at Brwoser i can call the system but in app it is offline.

I have try the port-number like in your example.

Two other suggestions.

1 - Where you enter the dyn dns address in the app DO NOT add :<http_port> after the address. It should be for example mycctv.dyndns.com and not mycctv.dyndns.com:7899. The server port entered needs to be the server port NOT the http port as initially discussed. If you do this and your port forwarding is correct it will work.

2 - To prove whether it's a port forward issue or not - add the device to the iVMS 4500 app using it's internal LAN IP address rather than external DYN domain name then see if you can connect while your phone/tablet is on the same LAN. If it works locally it's definitely a port forward issue.

On another note you mentioned iVMS 5200. This is not "the new app". It's a completely different app using a Server/Client solution. You should only be using Hik Connect, iVMS-4500 for apps or iVMS-4200 for PC/MAC

If you still cannot get it to work you'd need to contact a professional to sort it for you.

Hey,

thanks for reply.

Point 1: yes is clear i enter without http and with the serverport in IVMS it is 8000 by me.

Point 2: i will test und give you feedback

Sorry you are right i use ivms-4200 for PC
