Hi

I have problem with HIK - CONNECT. I updated the firmvare to the latest version 2.1.5 200904. Now i can connect to the Hik connect server and make it work online same by internet cable as wifi. I can control the door station by mobile app even when i unplug the internet cable and the door station is connectet only with the wifi. But when i disconnect the power to install the door station on the right place (close to the door) than the HIK CONNECT status became Offline. The mobile aplication is stop working despite of the door station reconectet with the wifi and i can still ring to the LCD indoor station. The only one whay i knew to fix that is to take the door station back to home connect to rooter by internet cable, restart all seting, rebot and set up all again. But the problem comme back when i switch off the power even for 30sec. Is any bady know how to solve this problem ? I was thinking about small ups 12v to hold up the pover when i need to disconnect the power.

But I read that the door station with the (B) in the name have bigger memory size, so the firmware will not work in the previous versions. Do you have the link to the latest version of the firmware for

DS-KV8113-WME1 without (B)

Hey, but yes it works with (B)

5. Fix the bug that the villa door station cannot be connected to Hik-Connect after power off and restart when connecting viaWi-Fi

Villa Door Station Firmware V2.2.10_201126(2020-12-08)

Edit:
Dont Work good.
The B is another Firmware - the System is faulty.

Hi,

How can I know if the unit has A or B hardware revision?
Is this info displayed somewhere?

Thanks!

You can read this on the label on the back of the door station. If you have (B) ex. DS-KV8113-WME1(B) then you have B if you have without B you have A. The B firmware will not work with A, but the sollution with small UPS 12V (f.ex. PowerWalker DC 12 volt)
to hold up the power works perfect in A model. The latest firmvare for A model is 2.1.5 200904.

Thanks @tomsmark. Unfortunately i can find only revision A for sale.
Do you know if the problem happens also when the communication with hik-vision is done trough an indoor device (DS-KH6320-WTE1 or DS-KH8350-WTE1)? like before firmware 2.1.5 200904 ?

if I understood right, the device will show as offline in hik-connect after power loose, only if external unit is registered in hik-connect app.

Are there any major differences (new features) between firmware for revision A and firmware for revision B?
My use-case requires both units (outdoor and indoor) to be connected only over Wifi, and to be able to access the unit in hik-connect (no matter if directly the outdoor one or indoor one).

Thanks for help.

Unfortunately, I am not a specialist, but I can only suggest how I solved my problem. From what I have read The basic operation does not change in the software for the door station in version A or B. The latest software for the A series gives the possibility to connect the door station with HIK-Connect via the IVMS 4200 application installed on the computer. I have never connected the door station with the Hik Connect server through the internal LCD panel, but it does not matter because it is the door unit that connects to the Hik Connect server, not the LCD panel. The difference that I noticed between the version marked A and B is that in version A after a momentary loss of power of the door station, the door station will disconnect from the Hik Connect server, despite the fact that in the settings it is still marked that it should connect, then, it will not be possible to use the application HiC Connect by mobile app, until you connect the door station for a moment with an internet cable and reset the device. The problem with disconnecting from the server for version A occurs only with a Wifi connection. If the door unit is connected via a cable then the momentary power loss does not matter. In version B, probably from what Davimas wrote, the problem with disconnecting the door unit from the HIK CONNECT server has been solved by the latest firmware update. Sorry for my gramatic i tryed my best.

If you plan tuo use Hic-Connect app with GSM internet on your mobile, your door station need to be power on all the time. In case of momentary power loss, if your door station was connected only via wifi (not the cable), after reconnect you will lose the connection with the Hik-Connect SERVER and your app will not work when you will by away from home. Ofcourse you can still use your app if you connect your phone to home netverk, but it dosnt have sence for me.

Actually, if door unit is able to communicate with indoor unit over wifi after a power loose, that should be fine. The hik-connect app can be configured to talk to the indoor station (lcd panel) not the door station. This is how it worked before this latest firmware.

Ok, but the Hik-Connect app on your mobile can work with WiFi (your home network) and with GSM (Internet on your phone). If your door station is not connected to Hik Connect server than it will not work when you are far away from home and you cant connect with your home network. Thats why it is necesery to keep the outdoor station always on so the GSM connection always work.

And.. does dorbell DS-KV6113-WPE1 (A and B version) both can be used as standalone device on wifi?
Where is link for this firmware, version A and version B?
I dont know wich version i odered!
Is possible to connect device to my hikvision acc, but to everyone else in house to work exclusivley and only on the local network?
Buy this or find some diferent manufactur wifi dorbell?

For A firmware version released on 15.05.2020, then it probably can't work on its own.. :(
The webstore doesn’t know if it’s version A or B so I’m tense.

Well that's it. But, if there are no new updates, sharing between users is disabled, the note reads. Thanks anyway!

Hi

I have DS-KV6113-WPE1(B) with latest firmware (V2.2.53 build210907) working standalone with asterisk (VoIP) server via WiFi. Just discovered that right after reset device do not receiving IP address (connected to WiFi but no IP). Restart of wifi AP fixing the issue (or pressing reconnect on UniFi management portal, I am using Ubiquiti AP with their controller and can see that client connected). Did anyone else have the same issue? I have plenty of devices and I am sure that it is not a dhcp issue.

I have EXACTLY the same issue as OneMan. Door station (same software) connected through the Wi-Fi Deco M9. Got some other Hikvision items and only the door station seems to have problems with re-connecting to the Wi-Fi after power outage. SADP showing the device, but device has no IP, no mask, no gateway and you cannot set them up. After restarting the device with LAN cable plugged in, it connects to the WiFi and everything works normally until restart/power outage.
