I have just started installing a cheap Sansco CCTV system that I bought from Amazon. Despite it being a budget 8 camera setup, it's actually working perfectly. But I have one feature I would like to add that I can't find documented in the manual or on any forum - and that's an external buzzer.
I have setup a simple motion detection zone to register when someone walks up my driveway. But the DVR is located in a cupboard and the buzzer cannot easily be heard. I would love to have it trigger an external buzzer (or preferably a doorbell) that is easier to hear and less jarring on the ears.
Is there a feed I can take from the circuit board that I can use to do this, maybe through a relay. Or is there a software approach I could use, through the use of the systems alarm server feature?
Thanks
Steve
