Fixed time and date - recordings now missing

Hi all

My NVR-104A had the incorrect date (January 2004). I corrected it last night, and now I can't find any recordings before last night. I've tried to specify the date in the playback section of iVMS, and tried the download feature but no luck. There is apparently 0gb free so hopefully something is still there.

Shall I try setting the time and date back to what it was?

The NVR and camera times need to be exactly the same for your recordings to be visible, which may be the problem.

If you use the NVR's IP address to log into it on a web browser, you should have the option to "sync with computer time" or something similar - see pages 44-5 here - HiWatch User Manual

Select this, and then log into each camera and do the same. Alternatively, there might be an option on your NVR to synchronize the camera times with it, which would work too - sorry, we have no experience with HiWatch NVRs so I'm not too sure which settings are available to you.
 
I'll take a look, I didn't realise you could log in to the cameras.
