foscam nvr replace to hikvishion

Hello,

So i have a 8 camera system connected to a nvr, all cameras and nvr are foscam, i have some ptz and some normal cameras, now the nvr app that foscam provide is shocking, it never loads and cuts out every single time, im sick of it and nothing is being done.

I really don't want to have to replace all the cameras as they are quite new.

My question is, is there another nvr out there that i can connect all my cameras to and use it in the same way, i need the app function as i work away a lot so need to keep an eye on things,

We would recommend the Hikvision DS-7608NI-I2/8P 8-channel PoE NVR

This model supports ONVIF so you should not have an issue adding the Foscam cameras as long as they are also ONVIF compliant, but when connecting 3rd-party cameras via ONVIF you will lose access to some camera/brand-specific features like Smart Events & Smart CODECs but you should still have access to PTZ controls.
