Hanwha New Products

During lockdown Hanwha has been busy as usual releasing new products for their customers. The new ranges include; PoE extender cameras, AI (artificial intelligence) cameras, serverless ANPR cameras and face mask detection cameras. See below a brief introduction to the new cameras.

PoE extender cameras

The Hanwha PoE Extender Cameras are part of the X series and consist of four dome cameras in both indoor and outdoor versions with 2MP and 5MP resolution options.

Designed to enable users to add a camera or another PoE enabled device to an existing system or installation of a new two camera system. There are numerous benefits to choosing one of these cameras as it will save users time on installation on installing two cameras within 80 meters of one another.

AI Cameras

Hanwha has recently introduced a range of ultra high definition 4K artificial intelligence cameras that are equipped with deep learning video analytics to increase detection accuracy and reduce false alarms. The range consists of 5 cameras, box, bullet, flush mount dome, indoor dome and outdoor dome.

The AI models come with a 4.5~10mm (2.2x) motorised varifocal lens (except the box PNB-A9001), which is able to auto-track and allows users to zoom into a cameras field of view to see areas within a scene in greater detail.

Serverless ANPR Camera

Hanwha Techwin is introducing a new serverless ANPR camera to build upon its range of intelligent traffic management solutions. The camera is able to capture number plates with 95% accuracy of vehicles moving up to 50mph. The XNO-6080R/FSNP has been designed for use in a range of applications including; car parks, petrol stations and small residential areas with multiple entrances and exits and barriers.

The serverless ANPR camera has easy to configure camera to camera interaction for up to 4 devices and is able to store up to 1000 number plates as well as manage barriers.

Face Mask Detection Cameras

Hanwha recently launched the Occupancy Monitoring application which was designed to help implement social distancing rules in the current climate. To coincide with this they have since released a series of face mask detection cameras that have been created to help businesses operate during the COVID-19 pandemic. The face mask detection range consists of three cameras; a bullet, an indoor dome and an outdoor dome.

These cameras have been designed to detect if a person entering a certain area is not wearing a face mask, this will then trigger an alert that is customisable but can play an audio message saying, for example, please wear a face mask.
