I have a DS-2CD2155FWD-I.
When I choose anything higher than 1280*720P I get picture error on the sub-stream, see my picture. Since I bought a 5 MP camera I want to use the highest resolution 3072*2048 but I also need the sub-stream for my alarm detection/verification system. If I choose 1920*1080P there is a smaller error, and then higher than that it is the same fault on all levels. I have tested to change Video quality with no luck. I just updated with latest firmware 5.5.80 but no difference.

Are my camera to weak for its own specs? I was just on my way to order a couple of more but seems like I need to rethink that...

Hi again...
I think I found one problem… the path "102" I gave does not seem too look at sub-stream anymore, it looks at the main stream!

I have noticed that no matter what channel I use I always look at the main stream. The reason for the crappy picture I attached is because the alarm only support 640*480.

Why can I not access sub stream picture?

http://xxx.xxx.x.xxx/Streaming/channels/101/picture?
http://xxx.xxx.x.xxx/Streaming/channels/102/picture?
http://xxx.xxx.x.xxx/Streaming/channels/103/picture?
up to 199 all shows main stream picture. Above 199 (and a "2") gives an error.

Hi, thanks for the link... But I am not sure what that will tell me? A ”1” gives main stream, a ”2” does not work. 101-199 gives main stream. What more alternatives are there to test?
