Hik-Connect Hik-Connect App Release Notes

Hikvision have just released new versions of their Hik-Connect App for IOS (V3.7.6) and Android (V3.7.5) - please find the latest Release Notes attached.

Here's a summary of the changes:

1. New release

1. Hik-Connect version 3.7.5 (Android 3.7.5, iOS 3.7.6) is released.

Main update:

New Features

• Supports main stream in 4-window mode live view and remembering the definition and fluency settings of a channel. For example, if a channel’s stream type is main stream in the last live view, its stream type will still be main stream in the next live view, no matter in 1-window mode or 4-window mode.
• [Android] Supports configuring device network parameters after activating device incase DHCP is not enabled.
• [iOS]Supports displaying a pop-up window which guides the user to rate the Mobile Client after he or she complete an operation such as live view. It only pops up once.
• Supports search Help and FAQ by keywords.
• Supports displaying both the device name and channel name for the video device in the alarm details page.

Optimization

• Increased the minimum requirement for password strength to improve account security. The updated rule is: contain numbers, lowercase letters, uppercase letters or special symbols, more than three types of characters is required, and the length requirement is 8 bits or more.
• Optimized the interface style and structure of Help and FAQ.

Optimized the device search logic (supports non-case-sensitive search).

I think it'll just follow the normal notification and update from your usual App store (IOS or Android) when ready & available
