Hi

If i have the DS-KIS603-P kit standalone with no NVR,

Is it possible to use the doorbell to record motion events to the SD card inside the indoor station or will the SD card only store events when doorbell is pressed?

Furthermore if motion detection is available can line crossing instead be used?

This will be the doorbell and indoor station with NO NVR.

if not possible with the doorbell can it be achieved with the DS-KD8003-IMEI instead with the indoor station and no NVR?

AFAIK, not without setting up a dedicated storage server (which is a mystifyingly stupid design by Hikvision). Try here.

Thank you, apologies i did not find that original post before posting my question.

I have a follow up question...

There is a existing Dahua NVR, I assume then if i manually add the hikvision doorbell as a IP camera to the NVR i can then use that to save to footage?

According to this annoying and almost incomprehensible video by a knowledgeable foreign guy speaking too quickly, you can do it.
