HikVision DS-7616NI-K2:16CH NVR - Which Third Party Cameras will it accept via ONVIF?

Hi All,

I have a bunch of Uniview IP cameras which I want upload onto DS-7616NI-K2:16CH NVR.

Does this NVR accept any IP camera through ONVIF or does it only accept certain types?

How does one know which third party cameras they take and don't take?

Just wanted to know before buying the NVR.

All Hikvision NVRs should support all ONVIF compliant cameras, you can confirm if your cameras are actually ONVIF compliant using the conformant product search tool at the ONVIF website.

UPDATE:

As Dan mentioned above you can pull in any IP camera on a Hikvision NVR as long as it's
ONVIF compliant. But one must understand not all of the features of the camera will work
if you pull them in through ONVIF. It's something one needs to understand before purchasing
certain cameras and hoping all of the functions will work....
