Hikvision Model Naming Code

Hi

I am keen to understand the coding used by Hikvision for their cameras/NVR etc. DO Use-ip have a coding sheet to explain how a camera model code is constructed?

Thank you for the prompt response.

Looking at the document, I can decipher most of the below camera, however, the LU is not listed - I think U would means includes microphone.

Is there a 2020 version of the document?

Also, on the following PTZ model, what does the S5 mean?

The 'L' in -LU refers to 'Light' as the ColorVu cameras have a visible white LED floodlight to help achieve the colour images at night.

In the case 5425, the (S5) is a hardware update with several small spec adjustments which can see by comparing the datasheets. The biggest visible difference is the (S5) model includes a wall bracket in the box with the camera.

Just to add to what Dan has said, the new (S5) PTZ models are being marketed as AcuSense models as they also use algorithms to ensure accurate human and vehicle classifications - "Accurate human and vehicle target classification, alarm, and linked tracking based on deep learning algorithm"
