Hikvision NVR not working after power outage

Hi I have a Hikvision DS-7608NI-K2/8P 8 Channel NVR, bought in 2016, which the power supply recently failed on. I have replaced the power supply with the same make and model which is working correctly. Now when I boot up the NVR it does not show up on the network and the SADP tool does not find any HIKVision items on the network. The power and traffic LEDS are not lit on the network switch for the port that the NVR is connected too. The network socket on the NVR does not have power and traffic LEDS fitted.
Any clues what's wrong? Thanks.

Thanks Phil, Do you think it will have effected the cameras too and HDD? Is there any way to prevent a repeat performance?
 
It's hard to say for sure, you would need to check the HDD and cameras, but my gut feel would be that they are fine.
You can install a UPS to help protect the NVR from spikes and black-outs.
Unfortunately, Hikvision do not offer the connectivity to enable a UPS to safely shutdown their NVRs when the batteries near empty.
