How do i see my Hikvision NVR from a remote pc?

I have a Hikvision NVR and some Hikvision cameras.The router gave me an ip for the NVR. I put it in my pc browser and appeared the login Hikvision interface. When I was at a friend with a different provider of internet I couldn't reach my NVR via IE. I have a static IP from my provider.So this I must put it in the browser at my friend, not the ip given to me by the router?

Yes, you need to enter the static world wide web address for your home when you are elsewhere (as given to you by your ISP).
You will also need to configure port forwarding on your home router to allow you to see/access your HikVision NVR from elsewhere.
