Today we will be showing you how to update your Synology DiskStation Surveillance station, which same method for updating any packages. We are updating to version 6.0-2603. Firstly navigate to your Synology box.
Now login to the main desktop.
Now click on 'Package Center'.
The Package Center will now open.
Navigate to the 'Update' tab.
You will now be presented with any packages that have updates available. In our case we only have the Surveillance Station.
Click the 'Update' button on the right, or if you have more than one update, click 'Update All'.
The update will now begin to download.
Once the update has updated it will automatically install.
Once the package is updated you will receive a notification of the update completion and that it was successful.
The package will now be ready to use at the latest version.
Now login to the main desktop.
