Hi,
i have 3 bnc camera (i can't change it), and some onvif camera.
I have to buy a new nvr (the last one has been stolen :( ). Which nvr do you suggest to me ?
Which is the best way to link the old bnc cameras to the nvr ?
My last nvr had 4 bnc inputs, but I din't find an hikvision with bnc inputs.
Maybe a good solution can be a DVR that export rtsp video and then use this video stream as an input to the NVR. What do you recommend? :)

Hi @aeroxr1

We would recommend that you are probably best off using a Hikvision analog DVR rather than an NVR, this is because most DVR models support connecting some IP cameras over the local network, whilst most NVRs do not support any analog BNC connections.

Unfortunately, we specialise in IP solutions so I would not be able to specify a DVR model that would be best for your setup.

Hi @Addyson Brooks

Milestar is not a brand I have ever heard of and from a quick google search, I get no results for any CCTV or VMS brands called Milestar. Knowing so little about them I could not offer an opinion on whether you should use them or not.

I'm looking to the best value for money. Dahuaa vs Hikvision or ?

Hi @aeroxr1

Dahua and Hikvision are direct competitors so their prices will be very similar, we only sell Hikvision so we would recommend their product. There is no other brand that offers the same product quality for the reasonably low prices that Hikvision and Dahua sell at.

Thanks for the help ! I think I will buy the HIKVISION iDS-7204HUHI-M1/FA. Is it a good choice ?

iDS-7204HUHI-M1/FA vs iDS-7204HUHI-K1 ?
