Hi

I wanted to ask you guys if you have tried using an outdoor CPE with a 24v passive POE LAN port.
It needs an IPCam that supports a 24 passive POE.
The main objective is to connect the IPCam directly to the passive POE passthrough LAN cable of the
CPE in order to power and link it on the network.

Thanks.

Sorry, could you clarify what you mean by CPE?

Hi Kieran.

Sorry I did not specify. It is an outdoor access point with a passive POE port.
This will give power to the IPCam so no need to layout a separate power
source for the IPCamera.

The link is @ http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/details/cat-37_CPE210.html

We tried but the IPCam does not power up and we are trying to find a way to
make the IPCam work with this outdoor AP.

I am not sure if users on this form are already doing this for outdoor installations.

Hopefully somebody can point me to the right direction.

Thanks.
