This is a question that pops up every so often, the simple answer is no. If you are running your Hikvision system from their iVMS-4200 software then it is not possible to add individual 3rd-party cameras to the iVMS software, the only way around this is to add the 3rd-party cameras to a Hikvision NVR and then add that NVR to the iVMS software.
It s quite common that VMS solutions from specific manufacturers will either not support other brands at all or require you to purchase expensive 3rd-party device licenses.
If your IP system is going to be made up of a mixture of camera brands them we would advise looking at a full VMS solution like Milestone, Luxriot, VAST2, etc... as these VMS solutions are designed to support a variety of IP brands.
