Hi Guys,

We use IVMS-4200 to view a lot of cameras in out community and for the most part with view them
through port forwarding. And some we view through Hik-Connect after logging into the Hik-Connect
option which I have on my phone. As times I can't always get the port forwarding/public IP thing right.

I am having issue with my IVMS-4200 where it crashes every so often and if you try and make
it do to many things at once it starts crash and just freezes so I have restart my computer.

My computer is an i7 and brand new runs at:
Network: 6%
CPU: 15% is the highest it goes
Memory: 7%

When the IVMS freezes I have to restart my computer. Will also find it slow at times.

Maybe it's my internet speed? but I am not sure.

We view 229 cameras out of a possible of 256.
I have 12 NVR's that can be viewed through port forwarding
and more camera through Hik-Connect.

I don't think the computer is the issue.

I have the latest downloaded software if IVMS-4200
from the HikVision website.

Thanks a lot for your time and help if you reply.

@Marco Hill maybe the graphics card is overloaded. You may need a proper server and professional software to handle all those cameras. I have 12 cameras and 2 NVR's and get ivms4200 lockups. When I get a lockup I use ctrl-alt-del to open task manager to terminate ivms and any related processes.
