iVMS and Error 302 Camera not connected

I am using iVMS V2.8.1.4 and the software does not connect to the camera when first loaded. If I back out of the software and try again the camera connects and the live view appears.

I'm using Dell XPS15/Win10/Edge

Any suggestions please.

Just re booted from scratch and the system did not connect at the first attempt but did on re load.
Latest software version still has the problem.

No other reports of this.
I'm pondering what else may be causing your problem.
Perhaps try with Firewall/AV shields down?
Is it a wireless laptop? Does it exhibit the same behaviour when connected to your router with a network cable?

You haven't said what camera(s) you are using?
Are they running the latest firmware?

My camera is a DS-2DE7232IW-AE from Hikvision. My laptop is Dell XPS15 9570 which has no RJ45 socket and I have no adapter.
I will try turning the Firewall off and the firmware version later tonight.

No difference with firewall turned off.
