Hikvision have today provided a new V4.1.67 firmware version for the -I range of NVRs.

I downloaded and installed this firmware. It solved an issue that popped up two firmware updates ago wherein when I viewed my cams using ivms4200 one of the random cameras would look pixelated. When I clicked on the camera itself and brought it up to full view the pixelating would go away, but it was still a nuisance. With this update the issue has not returned.

They have also just released this Guide to the features in firmware V4.1.6X

That guide is interesting. It looks more like it's designed as a glossy sales brochure that a change log tbh. I particularly like page 9 where they point out how quickly you can recover a lost password, vs previously where there was "several days and human cost". Like people literally died to recover your password!
