Some Milesight users have reported issues playing back footage from their NVRs (that are on the latest 7x.8.45.7 firmware) using the M-Sight Pro app, we tested this problem in our office with our UI- and MS- NVRs (UI- are our UK specific product codes) and found out that the problem was only affecting our UI- models.

We passed this information to Milesight Tech Support and this morning they have published a new software version for the M-Sight Pro Android app, they are still tweaking the iOS update but this should be available shortly.

You can download the new Android update here - Milesight M-Sight Pro (Android) V3.1.0.2-r3

This update is a zipped software file (just like when you download new firmware for a camera or NVR) so if you download it on your Android phone you will have to install an Unzipping app (there are many free ones) to open the file, once you open the file should be prompted to update the app.

We will post an update on this thread when the iOS update is available

We assume it will appear there in the next couple of days, I think the approval processes by Apple and Google cause delays

It is possible to access by protocol HTTPS in de App M-Sight Pro (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.msight.mvms)

In the Device Manager -> Add NVR - Port setting only supports HTTP no HTTPS

Is posible HTTPS access?

Hi, sorry for the slow response but we had to double check with Milesight what the situation was with HTTPS, unfortunately, Milesight only supports HTTP access at the moment, but our Milesight contact tells us that their technical team are looking at HTTPS and may add it as a feature in a future firmware update.
