I've been spending a lot of time with Milesight's products whilst we've been private testing their cameras and NVRs.

On Friday, a customer brought me the below problem - too much infra-red in the scene causing people to white-out (a 2355 turret camera mounted low). I dived into the HikVision back-end configuration settings to see what possibilities we had to adjust and compensate for this. I was immediately struck (surprised to find) that HikVision's settings looked basic in comparison to Milesight's.

I knew from very recent tests that Milesight have a setting called IR Balance Mode which is quite effective at adjusting the IR to compensate for any over-bright areas in the scene.
