How-to: My Hikvision NVR has both HDMI & VGA connections, can I connect two monitors to my NVR?

Ok, is there a specific reason you are not using a newer firmware? The latest firmware for this model is on the Hikvision Website - v4.51.100

I didn't went for upgrade yet, customer was calling me from a location with that problem.

Hik support later told me about Aux being enabled after 4.40.500. But will recommend 4.51.100 ( witch i actually used with DS-9632NI-I8 and is completely different from 4.4x.xxx versions).

Hi, Dan. I have DS-7616NI-Q1 V4.71.000 build 220224
Can I use two monitors for custom view on each of this?

Hi @akineo

We've never used Q-series NVRs so I can't say for sure, but the datasheet says the Video Output mode is "HDMI/VGA simultaneous output" which means it will probably behave the same as the old K-series models described in the first post of this thread.

The video output would be exactly the same on both the VGA & HDMI output if you connected two monitors, you wouldn't be able to have different layouts on each screen.

I have a DS-7608NI-K2/8P NVR, it supports independent HDMI and VGA view. So I can separate the cameras.

However, I have another NVR 16ch 7616nxi-k2 , data sheet says independent, but u cannot (I have the latest firmware).
So, the information displayed on Hikvision website is incorrect.

Hi @cameraciguzeli

What firmware version is your 7616NXI-K2 NVR currently running?

Are you saying that under the Configuration > System > Live View menu you don't have the settings to configure different outputs for HDMI & VGA?

Can you please share a screenshot/photo of the Live View menu on your 7616NXI-K2 NVR?
