Hi everybody, i recently buy the new intercom module from hikvision. But i got a problem, once the nvr start i can work with intercom 2 minutes max and after, all screen reboot and ime 8003 is impossible to reach and found. My cameras and intercom are connected directly to the POE NVR 7608ni/k2 and i set POE sub to 192.0.0.1 Someone have any ideas of my problem ? Thanks !

We are dealing with a customer at the moment who is experiencing similar issues and we found 2 major requirements of a 2nd Generation Intercom system that you may be missing as they are not clearly marked in any of Hikvision's documentation:
1. The KD8003 Video Intercom module cannot be directly connected to the ports on the NVR, it has to be connected to an injector or switch on your local network so it can be visible to other devices like the Hik-connect app and the Indoor Station, setting it up this way also allows the devices to communicate when the button on the intercom is pressed.
2. This was something we were unaware of and was only reported to us today by Hikvision's UK tech support, to install and set up a 2nd Generation Video Intercom module you must also have an Indoor Station. We had assumed that the Intercom module would work the same as the other 2 doorbell models which can be set up just on their own and connected to the Hik-connect app for the doorbell function, but we have now been informed that the 2nd Generation Intercom system requires the use of an Indoor Station to complete the setup.

It's good of you to offer qualified support on products you don't sell (if you did, I would ask you for a quote).
My understanding of your #1 is that it can't be any old switch, or even any Hikvision switch. They sell a couple of dedicated switches - or "video/audio distributors" as they call them - within their video intercom range and assured me I needed to get one of these specifically. I'm about to find out.
Your #2 makes sense since Hikvision tell me that local mobile devices connect to an indoor station (monitor) only and not to the door station. I didn't ask why but assume it might be done this way to preserve the core functionality of the intercom unit even if multiple mobile devices are trying to access the system at the same time.
I would like to hear from anyone who has Hikvision's 2nd gen video intercom installed and functioning nicely across mobile devices.

In regards to your first point, as far as we are aware those video/audio distributors were only required with the 1st generation intercom systems, Hikvision's documentation for the 2nd generation range has no mention of these specialist switches and only shows basic PoE switches - https://www.use-ip.co.uk/datasheets/hikvisionvideocom2.0.pdf

Very interesting…You may have just saved me 50 quid. I wonder if my Hikvision techie got it wrong or if it was just me getting confused. The latter I guess… I did wonder since I gather only the first (master) indoor station needs POE with additional indoor stations being optionally networked via wi-fi as long as they have a local power supply. Quite clever: the master indoor station does all the heavy lifting via POE to the door/gate while the slave monitors (and mobile devices) give the impression of handling interactive telemetry wirelessly but are actually just telling the master monitor what instructions to send.
Your data sheet is new to me as well - I didn't find it on Hikvision's website.
