Hey Everyone.

So i have just changed from a Apple TimeMachine router to a Nighthawk X10 router. My HIKVision DVR is connected to this new network and I has the same IP address as the previous Mac router but I can't connect/view it on any of my remote devices (Iphone Laptop etc) and the Ethernet connection on the router or the switch indicates a red light (error) when I try plug the HIK DVR ethernet into it.

Any thoughts on how i remedy it ?

Start with your LAN connection first, and re-establish local access.

When you plug your DVR into your network you should be able to find it on your network:
SADP on a PC is simplest
iVMS-4200 for Mac if you only have Macs
Or search the DHCP table of devices in your router's config

Once you can see your DVR, and know its IP address on your network, you should be able to browse to it.
