Gooday
I’m using a high end hiK VISION NVR ds-9632
The one with the giga bit nic
I’m using 3rd party onviv cameras 2mp
The first 16 cameras add just fine
However the next 16 give me a no resource picture on at least 5 blocks in main screen
Double click and the pic is ther
Please note the camera doesn’t seem to have a sub stream
Bit rate 512
Frame rate 15fps
What else can I do to eliminate this issue

Hi @Aslam

Are you trying to live stream more than 16 cameras at one time?

The NVR won't be able to do this unless you lower the resolution of all the cameras, each NVR has limitations on its ability to decode the streams coming from the cameras, the 9632 NVRs can decode 4-ch @4K or 16-ch @ 1080p

So as you can see, when the number of cameras you are viewing at the same time increases the resolution has to drop to allow for smooth streaming. 16 cameras is already a lot of cameras to be looking at in one go, we would suggest leaving it at 16 live views (4x4) and if you are using a direct monitor just have 2 pages of 16 cameras each.

You were correct
I’ve changed the resolution and it soughted the problem out
Thanks !!!!

Another question
The first 16 cameras work smoothly with no jerk or leg
U open the page and it pops up immediately
The second 16 however there are few that have a serious leg and jerk
All bit rates are at 2048
And fps are 25

Any idea what’s causing the leg
All switches are gigabit uplink as well
