NVR Update from 3.4 to 4.0

Good Morning,

I just updated my firmware downloaded from the Hikvision US website and it installed correctly well sorta. So there was an upgrade from 3.4.x to 3.4.x and then from 3.4.x to 4.x anyway did that in the correct way anyway now that I have gone to 4.x there is no username to select from in the drop down when I go to login, and the secure pattern doesn't work I am able to reset the password but because there is no username in the drop down list I am unable to log in. I was just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and have managed to fix it. I do work in IT so I have reasonable knowledge about updating firmware and different software so I am hoping someone with just a bit more experience might be able to help.

Where are you not seeing the dropdown?
In a browser?
Have you tried a refresh e.g. Ctrl + F5?
Using Internet Explorer?

Hi Phil,

Yeah I have tried all sorts of things. I can't log into the Web Interface either. It just comes back and says that its wrong. I have tried resetting the password multiple times but still no go I don't see the user list on even having the monitor plugged into the NVR

When you try to access from a browser what do you see please?
Use Internet Explorer.
