Hello guys,
i'm planning to buy the NVR DS-7616NI-M2 to manage some hikvision cameras
while i'm still deciding the exact camera model to choose, one think is sure is that i need the one key disarming feature

basically i want to use the local input the NVR has to trigger the disarming through the one key diarming feature
but i'm not sure if this NVR has it.
i read that as long as the NVR has local input that means it has also this feature
somewhere else i read that only from the GUI V5 this feature is available.
looking at the user manaual it seems to be available regarless the firmware version

so it is not clear to me. if someone have the answer or have the NVR to have a look at will be appreciated

thanks
regards

@Dan i read the thread you suggested about the several NVR
it is written
"The M-Series, I-Series, and I-Series with Acusense NVRs all use Hikvision’s NVR 4.0 interface, which is more developed than that on the other ranges and allows you full access to Acusense features."

it means they have the same features and settings which also include the one key disarming i'm looking for?

any experience on that?

thanks
regards

FWIW, I have NOT used or tested the one key disarming function in either the NVR or Hik-Connect.

But I do have a DS-7616NI-M2 with external POE switches. It works ok. Personally, I avoid the /nnP models, but that's just my personal preference. (IMHO, external switches give me much more flexibility in network design & at less cost).

Also, I have no experience with the NXI-I models that you asked about in your other thread.

Moving on...... in GUI 5.0 it appears the one key disarming has been renamed to "Quick Disarming". Of course, no explanation by HIK as to WHY. Again, I have not attempted to use or configure the Quick Disarming function. Does it work ? Probably, but I really don't know what defects might be lurking in HIK firmware. :)

The "alarm in" relay in my DS-7616NI-M2 certainly does function, as I have previously tested that.

At Firmware Version V5.04.081 build 260112 --> Attached are some screen shots, from the NVR UI and from the WEB UI. If you zoom in, you'll notice there are minor differences in the selection boxes to disable various linkages.

Hope that helps.

Hello @sportster

Thanks

So from the screen you posted with gui5 on your M-series there is the one key disarming or the newest quick disarming

Thanks to confirm that. Of course I assume it works as I don't have element to think differently

The important things is that the feature is available on the M-series

I also will use external poe switch so that in case of nvr failure I can still access the camera directly even if it still true that a fault on the main component NVR if connected directly or on the switch of the camera are connected to it will prevent recording and accessing them

Thanks
