I am stucked with this. I have fiber network from the countrys largest provider and the "housecentral" is set as bridge before the asus wifi router.

The provider has a way to open ports - like this

Where I can open ports - ex. Camera, tcp, 80, 80 and intern ip 192.68.10.94, but when I use the open port check tool Open Port Check Tool it is locked on the extern ip 109.247.xxx.xx

My question is - will the opened port on the intern ip work all right when I later shall do the setup on the camera and on HIKconnect? Or must port be opened on the extern ip?

Thanks again, Phil.
My provider now tells me to open the ports on both the housecentral and on the asus router, but your answer as I read it, is about port needed for the Hikconnect which according to you should be no need for.

I have been warned against opening port 80 in other forums because it makes it easier for intruders, but is that correct?
I think that everyone can try to reach any extern ip and any port, but can they do anything wrong?

My asus router have of course a wap2 very long password.
