POE Turret External Cameras wall mounted

Hi,

I am new to the forum.

Need some advice please on POE Turret cameras connecting to CAT6 cables no other external power supply cables plus will be wall mounted.
Which is the best turret camera for this case please? Ideally need AcuSense and strobe lighting / audible warning, 8 or 4Mp. Are cameras available in black? do they need additional wall mounting bracket? I guess will need NVR with RJ45 connections and POE?

The only model that suits your requirements would be the DS-2CD2346G2-ISU/SL 4MP AcuSense Turret

Unfortunately, these will not be in stock until the end of August and are only available in white.

In general, any turret that is outdoor rated can be externally mounted and whether you mount it with a bracket or not is down to the install location.

All Turrets have what we call a pigtail/fly lead with the RJ45 connector on the end, this lead is roughly 30cm long and so if you are mounting against a thin surface you can drill a hole directly behind the camera, pass the lead through and mount without any accessory.

If you don't want to make such a large hole, the wall is too thick, or you plan to bring the cable into the building somewhere else then we would recommend a junction box to store the RJ45 connection. (You will find the compatible junction box for each camera model in the frequently bought together section on each product page and/or on the camera's datasheet)

If you want to look along the wall that the camera is mounted to then we usually recommend a wall bracket as they push the camera out from the wall which reduces IR glare off the wall and gives you more adjustability to look along the wall. (same as the junction boxes, compatible wall brackets will be on the product page and/or datasheet)
