MacOS Problems installing Hikvision's SADP tool on my Mac?

I just installed a HIKVISION video surveillance with the NVR ACUSENSE DS-7608NXI-12/8P/S recorder. Browsing through the HIKVISION Network video recorder user manual I read under para. 1.1.3 "ACTIVATE VIA SADP". I tried to download the tool SADP V1.0.0.4 (for Mac OS 64-bit) onto my APPLE
lap top using operating system macOS Mojave version 10.14.6.

I am unable to download and get this message:

How can I obtain this tool?

You'll need to change your Mac's settings to allow you to download software from outside the App Store.

In System Preferences, go to:

Security & Privacy > General > Allow apps downloaded from App Store and identified developers

You'll probably need to click on the padlock at the bottom of the window and enter your password before you can change this setting:

You might be given an "are you sure" prompt the first time you try to download SADP after this, but just click Open and it should download the tool:

EDIT - I've just tried this myself, you may also need to locate the download file, right-click it, and select Open With > Installer :-
